David Van Wagenen

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and enjoyed the great weather. This is the final week of soccer season and the playoffs will be held this upcoming weekend. Teams are starting to separate themselves from one another, and we are excited to see who comes out to be the leader of the pack.

We will also be handing out another survey at practice tomorrow in case some of you did not receive one at practice. Please fill it out and return it to us at the games this weekend. It will help us greatly in figuring out how to improve the soccer league and improve as coaches. Remember, we have practice tomorrow evening at the soccer fields across from the Lakewest YMCA, and it will be the final practice of the soccer season.

We cannot express how grateful we are to all the parents and kids for making this soccer season so fun and exciting. Thank you again for all your hard work.

Philippians 3:12-14 Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.”
